Remembering Jim Schwartz

James "Jim" Schwartz passed away Monday, April 13, 2015, after 63 years of serving the Middletown, NJ, area and making people smile. The co-owner of Schwartz Mazda, Jim was a community-minded businessman who loved to make people laugh and to give back to those around him. Raised in Lincroft and Fair Haven, he spent the last 30 years living in Middletown, where he made an indelible mark on his family, friends, customers and the community.

Jim was the past President of the Monmouth County Auto Dealers, a member of the Monmouth Boat Club and Jumping Brook Country Club and also a life-long member of Temple B'Nai Israel. He was an active participant in the CBA Alumni Association and the Red Bank YMCA, and he was to receive the "Good Scout Award" in June of 2015. His relatives are among the oldest members of the Monmouth County Chamber of Commerce, and Jim's legacy of working to make his home a better place will long be remembered.
