2020 MAZDA6 vs 2020 MAZDA3

Serving Shrewsbury, NJ

At Schwartz Mazda, our sales associates are committed to getting each customer into a new car or SUV that will meet their needs and deliver excitement daily. If you are in the market for a stunning vehicle that is loaded with features, you may be debating between the Mazda6 and the Mazda3. Both of these vehicles have new styling elements, and they even share a few features in common. However, the Mazda3 is a compact car, and its entry-level MSRP is several thousand dollars lower than the starting price for the Mazda6. The Mazda6 is a midsize car that has almost two decades of evolution and advancements under its belt. Further review of these two vehicles will reveal the model that is the best option for you.

The 2020 Mazda3 is available with three different packages. Every Mazda3 carries a Skyactiv®-G inline-4, 2.5-liter engine that is capable of putting out 186 horsepower. This smaller car also comes with advanced direct fuel injection, G-vectoring control, a 6-speed sport automatic transmission, electric power steering, a rear torsion beam axle, a front MacPherson strut suspension, anti-locking, and ventilated disc brakes and other equipment. The Mazda6 for 2020 is available in five trims. The two lowest trims have the same powertrain and supporting equipment, as you will find in the Mazda3. If you take home one of the top trims, the Mazda6 will have a 2.5-liter turbocharged Skyactiv®-G inline-4 engine that delivers 250 horsepower. 1 This powertrain is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission with manual shift and Sport mode. Many of the other performance features are similar to the Mazda3's equipment.

During your visit to Schwartz Mazda, you will immediately notice that the Mazda3 is offered in both sedan and hatchback body styles. Both of these body styles show off undulating contours that roll from the curved, smooth hood and across the sides. The beautiful hood turns cleanly into the large, chrome-outlined grille. The chrome accent wraps upward into the piercing LED headlights. Depending on the trim selected, the Mazda3 may come with power side mirrors, cornering lights, integrated turn signals, and more. The 2020 Mazda6 is only available in a 4-door sedan body style. It has the same smooth surfaces with sophisticated contouring that stretches over the hood and sides. This contouring is beefier over the front fenders. The Mazda6 has the same grille shape and design as the Mazda3 has. However, the front headlights are thicker, and the lower front fascia has a stronger definition. The exterior equipment that could be on your Mazda6 includes auto-leveling headlights, a power sunroof, dual exhaust tips with a chrome finish, and more.

Equipment inside the Mazda3 and Mazda6 will impress you, and many of these features are found in both models at various trim levels. Some of these items are dual-zone autocomplete control, keyless ignition, keyless entry, heated seats with memory, a Bose sound system, Bluetooth connectivity, MAZDA CONNECT™ technology, and other gear.
